The Special Venezuelan violinist Anthony Vivas, the Costa Rican pianist Jacques Sagot Martino, the Orquesta Sinfonica Municipal de Santa Ana (GIWA) and GIWA Lyric Choir under the direction of Jorge L. Acevedo, the Group of Latin American Music Jazz Group GIWA Alley Cats, The Festival of marimbas and Marimberos and the Fifth Symposium of Sculpture EMAI , are some of the Sixteenth Edition of the Moon Light Summer Festival to be held from 15 to 20 May 2018. Giwa auditorium at 5 PM, 7 PM and 7:30 PM. All days, concerts and shows, will be preceded by a parade with masquerades and Maroon women through the main streets and avenues of Santa Ana, center.
With a varied program the Municipal School of Arts Integrated Assessment (GIWA) has prepared a very comprehensive program that includes dance, theater, music, visual arts and the Fifth Symposium of Sculpture in stone .
The Festival starts on Tuesday 15 April at 10 a.m. with the Inauguration of the Fifth Symposium of stone sculpture, at 6:30 P.M. the inaugural parade through the streets and central avenues, at 7:00 pm the opening concert of the GIWA Youth Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra GIWA and GIWA, Lyric Choir under the direction of Jorge L Acevedo, with the interpretation of classical and popular works of the composers: Jorge Luis Alvarado Bravo, Jacques Revaux , Claude Francois Jean Baptiste Accolay, Ludwig van Beethoven, Giocchino Rossini and Jorge Luis Acevedo, acting as soloists with the Youth: the child Victor Eduardo Ramirez.
