
The Escazu Cuna de Artistas festival is aimed at providing spaces for artistic expression to the people of the canton through the active participation of their new talents.
BASIS FOR PARTICIPATION WHAT SHOULD YOU SEND FOR EACH PROPOSAL?
The person or group interested in participating must present a document that states:
Full name of the person or artistic group
Place
Age
Phone
Certificate or social security
Email
Mention the artistic manifestation in which you want to participate
Attach the material indicated below:
Music: Send audible material, video (preferably), as well as examples of the lyrics. Required technical needs must be indicated (number of microphones, lights, etc.)
Dance: Send video and music of the proposal. Required technical needs must be indicated (Lights, etc.)
Theater: Send synopsis or summary of the work and indicate the duration of the work, or a video (preferably). Required technical needs must be indicated (headset microphones, lights, music amplification, etc.)
Circus: Send the script and indicate the duration of the presentation, or a video (preferably). Required technical needs must be indicated (headset microphones, music amplification, lights, etc.)
Literature: Send the text or the original texts with which you want to participate.
Visual arts: Send photos of the works with which you want to participate, indicate the name of the work (if any), as well as the technique used.
In the material to be presented, the person must take care of the vocabulary and / or expressions, seeking at all times the respect and integrity of the people. Proposals with language that disrespects other groups, beliefs or ways of life will not be admissible.
Proposals must seek ORIGINALITY and INNOVATION.
In the case of Music, Dance, Theater, Circus: there will be a maximum time of 20 minutes per presentation.
For proposals in the literature area, a maximum of 3 short creations can be shared.
For plastic arts proposals: At least one work must be submitted
In case of being a minor, the person responsible for the minor must be the one who expresses the interest that the minor participates, for which they must also include in the document their personal data, as well as those of the participating artist person

Deadline for submitting your participation proposal: 03/22/2019
The artists selected to participate in the Festival will be announced by telephone or by email on Friday, March 27, 2019.
