XI Cultural Festival of Villa 2018
“We are National Award for Management and Promotion of Culture, 2017”
• In Mora it is customary to carry out activities of artistic highlighting, strengthening of traditions, art and culture; which encourage citizen participation.
• The Local Government, promotes and invites the community to enjoy the Festival.
• On the occasion of the celebration, the community is invited to participate in the photo souvenir of the “We are National Prize for Management and Promotion of Culture, 2017”.
Monday, March 19, 2018. Mora, through her “Casa de la Cultura” project, invites you to participate in the XI Cultural Festival of Villa 2018, which is part of the artistic and cultural career of the canton, being part of their customs and traditions.
In the words of the organizers of the Festival: “The arrival of cultural development in the canton of Mora, has allowed the community to grow in issues of integration, appropriation of spaces and public places, and even citizen security, all of this, through the living community culture, festivals, concerts and others. ”
Among the activities that will be developed are: Masquerades, Concerts, Sales of food, Sales of handicrafts, Carousels, Cinema and Theater. The Festival starts next Wednesday, March 21, from 2:00 p.m. at 9:00 p.m., and until Sunday, March 25.
In addition, this year the Municipality of Mora, the House of Culture and Aderhac celebrates with all, the effort and dedication that they have generated, because this effort leaves as a result that the Ministry of Culture and Youth awards the National Award for Management and Promotion of the Culture, 2017.
In order to celebrate this prize, the general community, teaching staff, administrative staff, and all the people who have formed and are part of the project, are invited to participate in a souvenir photograph, which will be taken on Saturday 24 March at 5:00 p.m. in front of the House of Culture, said photograph will be part of the memory and award, as well as the basis for future activities.
