XVI Festival Luz de Luna Santa Ana 2019 From 21 to 26 May 2019 The Festival Luz de Luna is internationalized The extraordinary Colombian musicians Mario Donadio Copello, Clavecimbalista and León Alberto Giraldo Florez, Pied Piper are the special guests to act as soloists with the Santa Ana Municipal Symphony Orchestra (EMAI) under the direction of Jorge L. Acevedo Vargas at the opening concert. These two Colombian artists will join in duo to give us an exquisite key and flute recital the day after the opening concert, on Wednesday 22 May 7:30 PM in the auditorium EMAI. We will also enjoy with his virtuosity the renowned Cuban artists Winnie Camila Berg, first viola of the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica accompanied by the pianist, Lydia Esther Torriente Hernández. The international component of the festival includes the participation of Venezuelan pianist Silvia Cobreles. The SECOND meeting of Marimbas and Marimberos of the Camino Real and the 6TH Symposium of Sculpture in EMAI Stone and stable dance EMAI, are some other references of the 10th Sixth edition of the Festival Luz de Luna to be held from 21 to 26 May 2019. EMAI Auditorium at 5 PM, 7 pm and 7:30 PM. Every day, concerts and shows in the background will be prefaced by a parade with masks and Cimarronas by the main streets and avenues of Santa Ana, center that will make children and adults happy. With varied cultural activities the Municipal School of Integrated Arts (EMAI) has made a very comprehensive program that includes dance, theater, music, visual arts, the V Sculpture Symposium in Stone and the second meeting of Marimbas of the Camino Real. The Festival begins on Tuesday 21 May at 10 A.M. with the inauguration of the 6TH Stone Sculpture Symposium, at 6:30 P.M. the inaugural parade will tour the streets and Central avenues, at 7:30 PM the opening concert by the Orquesta Sinfónic A EMAI and EMAI Lyric Choir, under the direction of Jorge L Acevedo, soloists: Mario Donadio, Clave (Colombia) León Alberto Giraldo, flute (Colombia). Daniela Fallas, soprano. After the opening concert, in the EMAI Gallery, the exhibition of painting “Human figure” by the Costa Rican painter Gilberto Ramírez will be inaugurated. .
