The Classic Santana 2018 comes!
Begin to train because the preparations for the XXXII edition of the Santana Classic are ready and the renowned race is scheduled for Sunday, July 22, leaving the National Stadium at 6 a.m.
For the Sports and Recreation Coordinator of the Sports and Recreation Committee of Santa Ana (CCDRSA), Andrés Agüero, every year we work with more effort to overcome the quality of this competition that not only stands out for being conceived not for profit, but also for the quality and human delivery, where volunteering plays an important role.
Agüero said that the Classic of 2017 exceeded all expectations, both for the massive support of the runners and for the quality and quantity of sponsors, who presented their products to the participants. “We have achieved excellence, but there is always room for improvement,” added Agüero.
It also has the help of the Municipality of Santa Ana, the Costa Rican Red Cross, community organizations, traffic police and volunteers, who make it possible to achieve first level preparation and logistics.
As it has been done for several years, there are two routes of 5 kilometers and 12 kilometers. The latter has its start at the National Stadium at 6 a.m., reaching the finish line at the Recreational and Sports Park of the Santa Ana Center.
